Purpose and Scope of Application

This Candidate Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") is intended to provide information on how Playkot LTD (hereinafter referred to as "Playkot" or "we") collects, uses, stores, and discloses your personal data in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the EU and national legislation (including Federal Law No. 152-FZ of July 27, 2006, "On Personal Data").

Playkot aims to protect the data and confidentiality of candidates for positions within Playkot and comply with the requirements of all applicable data protection laws.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

The term "personal data" means any information concerning you recorded in any form that allows you to be identified or can reasonably be used for your identification.

Such data include:

  • your name and surname (in English and your native languages),
  • address,
  • information about education,
  • contact details (email, phone number, Telegram),
  • social networks or candidate portfolios with posted works (LinkedIn, Facebook, VK, Artstation),
  • the title of the position held and the name of the employer, any applications (resume, cover letter, etc.).

If you provide personal data of another person, you confirm that you have the legal right to process and transfer them to third parties on the same terms as specified in this Policy, or you use data obtained from public sources.

Playkot, as the controller of personal data, collects, processes, and uses personal data provided by you through the following channels: the website www.playkot.com, recruiting/staffing agencies, and job fairs for the purpose of processing your application, as further described below.

In addition, we may collect and process your personal data obtained from the following public sources, provided that the collection of such data is necessary and related to the performance of the job you are applying for, and provided that such information collection is permitted by national legislation (hereinafter referred to as "direct search"): LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks, Google, Telegram.

Verification of Biographical Data

Before making a final decision on employment, we reserve the right to conduct additional verification of the data provided regarding contacts and recommendations reflected in your application.

Purposes of Personal Data Processing

Any personal data provided by you to Playkot will be used to process your application for a specific position. In accordance with applicable legislation, your personal data may be retained and used for processing your application for other suitable vacancies within Playkot and affiliated organizations, unless you object to such processing; in which case, they will be deleted.

The processing of your personal data is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We require your personal data to conduct the recruitment process, and we will not be able to consider you as a candidate for any position if you do not provide us with your personal data.

Any processing of personal data obtained from other sources is carried out based on Article 6(f) of the GDPR.

When we retain your personal data for consideration for other vacancies, we do so based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, to provide you with the opportunity to work with us in the future, even if we cannot offer you a position at the moment.

We will delete your personal data as soon as it becomes clear that we cannot offer you employment or you reject such an offer, unless, in our opinion, you may be a suitable candidate for other positions in the future and you do not object to this, or if we need to retain your personal data for the preparation, filing, or defense of legal claims. In the case of retaining your personal data for other vacancies, they are kept for up to 3 (three) years.

Transfer of Personal Data

By submitting an application, you transfer your personal data to Playkot LTD, Cyprus. Your personal data may be provided to other affiliated organizations of Playkot, which may contact you regarding the specific position for which you have applied, as well as for other vacancies in the future. For this reason, your personal data may also be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. In this case, Playkot ensures an adequate level of protection of personal data, including (but not limited to) the signing of standard contractual clauses on data protection with its affiliated organizations, as adopted by the European Commission.



Ensuring Personal Data Protection

Playkot utilizes appropriate administrative, technical, personnel, and physical measures to protect your personal data. Printed copies are stored in locked cabinets, and only designated authorized personnel have access to this information. All electronic data is securely stored on cloud services (including Dropbox, Amazon Web Services, Google Drive), and only designated authorized personnel have access to this information. Your personal data is also protected through confidentiality commitments adopted by all individuals involved in the processing of your personal data.

Engagement of Third-Party Service Providers

Playkot may engage third-party service providers, such as recruiting/staffing agencies and software providers, for recruitment and applicant tracking systems.

Playkot carefully selects such service providers and enters into written agreements with them, thereby ensuring (i) that such service providers take adequate measures to protect information and ensure the security of your personal data; (ii) the use of your data by such service providers solely in accordance with Playkot's instructions and for no other purposes; and (iii) the storage of your personal data solely within the framework of such agreements. Each third-party service provider ensures an adequate level of protection of personal data, including (but not limited to) standard contractual data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Consent to this Policy

Checking the box "Agree" in the field to the right of the "Candidate Privacy Policy" column signifies your agreement with the terms outlined in this Policy.

Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to (i) request access to your personal data from us, as well as the right to data portability; (ii) request correction of your personal data from us; (iii) object to data processing; and (iv) request deletion of your personal data from us. If you wish to exercise any of your rights, please submit a request to info@playkot.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in case any of your rights are violated.
